ARTS
& CRAFTS
EXHIBITION
2008

It
was 30 years ago that a small band of enthusiasts got together to hold the first
Stokenham Exhibition of local arts and crafts. Many of those founders have moved
on or are unfortunately no longer with us but their successors are no less
enthusiastic and the exhibition goes on from strength to strength. To date over
£14,000 has been raised on behalf of local charities with this
years charity being The Triangle Centre For Cancer Support at South Hams
Hospital. This year's exhibition took over £5,500 in sales and contributions
enabling £640 for local charities. This years raffle winner was Emily
Brooking who won the bronze hare by Joanna Martens.
